Policy
"Anyone who wishes to tape live Rob McNurlin shows has my permission,
as long as they only make copies for trade or to give to others. I
don't want people making copies of my official releases, even to give
away, this takes money out of my pocket. But I'm honored that someone
would want to preserve my live shows as I don't have the time, money,
or inclination to do so. Also copies of some rehearsals, radio shows,
and outtakes are available, 99 percent of those were provided by me
and the others were obtained with my knowledge and consent. I make my
living performing, but the music is more important than money, I
usually perform up to 150 shows a year, and release a cd every year or
so. This leaves 100's of hours of music that could disappear into
thin air if it were not for tapers. This method has worked for
countless bands (Hot Tuna, Greatful Dead, etc) and I'm honored to be
in that company."
